In the midst of the annual tax season, the IRS says its Web site, www.irs.gov, is averaging more than 1 million hits a day.”Just to give you a frame of reference,” says Mark Everson, IRS chief, “one major search engine reported in a recent week that we were surpassed only by Paris Hilton, Clay Aiken, Pamela Anderson, Britney Spears and a poker game.”
