The only suggestion I would add is to ensure there is a process manager driving the effort. Many times firm's get focused on the mechanics of tax season and some professionals find it difficult to execute on some of these things. Whether it is time, lack of comfort or another aspect a process manager will help ensure obtacles are overcome. I think this is a very timely post and the suggestions here make a lot of sense.
