Accounting Today Names 2010 “Best Accounting Firms to Work For”

Accounting Today Best Firms to Work Fo 2010Third  year in a row for the listing.

To qualify, companies had to be public or privately held U.S. accounting firms with at least 15 employees, according to Accounting Today. Firms underwent a two-part survey process, the first part evaluating workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics; and the second surveying employees. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, survey and analysis process, and determined the final rankings.

The 100 firms in Accounting Today's "Best Accounting Firms to Work For" list come in three sizes: 45 small-sized companies (15-49 employees), 45 mid-sized companies (50-249 employees), and 10 large-sized companies (more than 250 employees).

    To whom it may concern;

    I am a part time student at Heald College in Miipitas CA. I am on the proccess of graduating with an AAS Degree in Accouting. I have attain an AA Degree from Evergreen Valley College CA in 2006 and I plan to pursuit my education as long as God allows me too. I am also a part time employee for Sherwin-Wiliams Piant and a full time father. My goal is to successfully earn a position with one of the best 100 Accounting Firms to work for.
    What advice can you give an individual like myself in order to reach my goal?

    Great post, there certainly are a lot of top accounting firms to consider when looking for a job. A few top accounting firms have been named as some of the best places to work in 2010. Attracting young students is not easy; I think it’s great that the Big 4 Firms are battling with Google for the best place to work. It seems as though now more than ever is a great time to become an accountant.
