Schneider Downs & Co. Inc to Merge BKR Longanbach Giusti, LLC into its Columbus Office

Columbus, OHIO?Columbus and Pittsburgh-based Schneider Downs & Co., Inc. is merging with BKR Longanbach Giusti, LLC, a 26-year-old accounting firm based in Columbus.

The transaction, expected to be completed after due diligence in August, will expand Schneider Downs? Columbus office with the addition of 22 professionals, including five shareholders. The combined group will be known as Schneider Downs and will be collectively relocated to new Columbus offices in the near future. The merger ratchets Schneider Downs up the ranks of the city?s largest accounting firms?it now places 9th but could easily crack the top 6 post-merger?and poises the firm for additional growth. Financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
