Alessandra Lezama assumed the role of chief executive officer for Abacus Data Systems in 2013.

Her long executive career in technology leadership has brought inspiration and strategy to Abacus, influencing its reinvention and exponential growth in the legal vertical and beyond. Alessandra has driven the company through this transformative shift at an industry-focused pace, taking advantage of the company’s 30-plus years of experience and evolving its products into a mature, robust portfolio. Keeping pace with technology on behalf of its customers with a unique private cloud service that is secure, compliant, and hardware-free, the company now offers small law firms and Fortune 500 law offices the benefits of the best technology available without the downsides associated with physical storage and upkeep.

Alessandra’s prior executive career included roles such as CEO of Sunfood (San Diego, CA), CEO of Sandiego.com and CEO and COO of American Internet Services, plus a number of sales technology leadership positions. She holds an MBA in International Marketing and BSE in International Marketing and Information Technology from Christina del Escorial (Madrid, Spain).
