Jon Baron, MBA, formerly president of the professional tax and accounting division at Thomson Reuters, is a seasoned executive who has built and managed large-scale businesses and continues today as a venture capitalist and entrepreneur.

One of his latest ventures is as co-founder and head of strategy at connectTMA, a new platform connecting attorneys with clients across the United States from anywhere, at any time, on any device.

Prior to his promotion to president at Thomson tax and accounting, Baron was vice president of development, responsible for the design and development of all products and services for the division.

His more than 40 years of technology development and management experience includes 17 years with CCH Computax (now the ProSystem® fx business unit of Wolters Kluwer North America) in various executive technology development and operations positions. He earned a BBA in Accounting from Siena College and an MBA from Boston University.
