“Preparers are going to succeed by selling their services and their knowledge,” says Sapp at the Illinois CPA society’s annual trade show.

Big question for workflows: Will the IRS be ready for full e-filing Jan. 15? Or will the agency push back some dates because of last-minute changes wrought by Congress?

    Rick,

    Good info. I agree about more individuals using Turbo Tax to do their own taxes. It saves on costs, it allows them to have some control of when they need to file and how they will prepare it. However, I have seen too many times where the control of how the tax payer will prepare their return will bite them by doing something incorrectly or not taking advantage of a deduction that could leads to thousands of dollars saved and kept with the IRS. Good video!
