Tax and Accounting Firms Lengthen Hiring Spree

The U.S. tax, accounting and bookkeeping industries are among the economy’s bright spots, according to CPA Trendlines sources.

Overall, the U.S. economy added 295,000 jobs in January, with 51,000 of those in professional and business services. The unemployment rate fell 0.2 percentage point to 5.5 percent.
